Terms of Service

Salient Drop (“Drop,” “we,” “us”) is a product of Salient Innovations. These Terms govern your access to and use of drop.salientin.com and the associated mobile and web application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

Salient Drop generates marketing content, including captions, hashtags, product listings, images, and video, based on a brief you provide and a brand voice profile built from information you supply (Instagram data, your website, screenshots, or example posts you paste in). Content is generated using third-party AI models routed through OpenRouter (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) and fal.ai (Ideogram, Nano Banana Pro, Kling, Veo). Image generation is opt-in and separate from campaign generation. The Service does not automatically publish content to any social platform unless you are on a plan and integration that explicitly supports direct publishing.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Salient Drop offers Starter, Pro, and Max subscription plans, priced in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and billed monthly or annually (annual billing is 10 months' price for 12 months of service) via Flutterwave. Custom/Enterprise pricing is arranged separately. Card details are handled directly by Flutterwave; we do not store your full card number.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of Drop Credits, spent on campaigns, images, quick content, and video generation. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Additional credits can be purchased as top-up packs at any time. The Custom plan is not subject to a credit cap.

Pro includes an optional 7-day free trial. Starting a trial requires card verification, which involves a small refundable-style charge (currently ₦100) to confirm the card is valid. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card will be charged the standard Pro subscription price and billing will continue automatically each cycle until you cancel.

You can cancel or change your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep the benefits you've already paid for. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where we state otherwise.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights;
• Generate content designed to deceive, impersonate another person or business, or spread misinformation;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its underlying models as a competing product;
• Circumvent usage limits, credit metering, or plan restrictions;
• Upload content you don't have the rights to use, or connect a social account you're not authorized to manage.

Generated images and video are subject to the content policies of the underlying providers (for example, requests may be rejected for policy violations). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

You own the content you generate through Salient Drop, subject to these Terms and to the rights of any third party whose material you've supplied (for example, if you paste in text you don't hold the rights to). We don't claim ownership over your generated captions, images, video, or brand voice profile.

You grant us a license to process the information you provide (Instagram posts, website content, screenshots, example posts, campaign briefs) solely to build your brand voice profile and generate content on your behalf. We do not sell your business data or generated content to third parties.

Connecting Instagram, your website, or other third-party services is optional and happens through Composio (Instagram), Firecrawl (website content), and your uploaded files. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their own terms (for example, Meta's Platform Terms for Instagram). We're not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party platforms we integrate with.

The Service is provided “as is.” AI-generated content can be inaccurate, and you're responsible for reviewing anything generated before you publish or act on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salient Innovations is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or fail to pay applicable fees, with notice where practical.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you're using the Service from outside Nigeria, you're still subject to these Terms and Nigerian law governs any dispute arising from your use of the Service.
